I have a list box with 200 entries. I added a Search Box. 1) It says 1 thru 50 of 200 in the Search box. How do I scroll to see ALL my values if chose not to use the search box? On the first 50 are there? I see no Next Page button!
2) What if the user does not care there are 1 thru 50 of 200 entries...ie can the search box open empty and listing all 200 entries which can be scrolled thru?
The only Search/Paging control setting set to YES is Keep SelectionThis message has been edited. Last edited by: FP Mod Chuck,
Oh dear....they also do not like that it does not start searching as you type....you must hit the magnifying glass.....I heard the dreaded, 'Tableau does not make you do all this'
So how do I rectify this to make it 'modern' as they say...
If you select the search object and go to properties there is a setting for Instant Search that by default is No. Change it to yes and you will get the behavior you want.
Thank you for using Focal Point!
