I am trying to populate my drop downs for an HTML page in Application Studio 8.0.09. The documentation shows External Procedure as an option, but it does not appear when I use HTML Composer in AS 8.0.09. I use external procedures in Developer Studio 7.7.05 to populate drop downs all the time. Any idea where 'External Procedures' went in Application Studio? Any ideas on work-arounds? I may be able to use an XML file directly. This message has been edited. Last edited by: M. Meagher,

Thank you. That was the route I thought I would have to take. So far it is not working. I will play around with the fexes and see if they are the problem. They are outputting to XML in the same manner I use in 7.7.05.

After much head scratching, last night I realized the external procedures I wrote to populate my controls were using 'ON TABLE HOLD AS XML' rather than 'ON TABLE PCHOLD AS XML'. That solved the problem.
