Thanks for the suggestion George, however, if I remove the EXCELSERVURL I get the exact same warnings.
I've edited my post above to include the links to the pictures instead of trying to embed them in the post. Don't have a lot of options to include the pics from my company network.
The error on the EXL07 version throws an XML error after I click "Yes" to open the file. When the file opens it gives a link to a log file which contains:
error057800_01.xmlErrors were detected in file 'http://s99dashboardp01/ibi_apps/WFServlet?PG_REQTYPE=REDIRECT&PG_MRsaved=false&PG_Func=GETBINARY&PG_File=xbyocrnv.xlsx'Repaired Records: Cell information from /sheet1.xml part
EXCELSERVURL The EXCELSERVURL parameter specifies the application server to be used to zip the file components that comprise an EXCEL 2007 file (.xlsx). The machine opening the file must have Excel 2007 or Excel 2003 with the Microsoft Office conversion utility installed. For Excel 2003, you must have the XLSX file type defined and should change the Save Report redirection setting in the WebFOCUS Administration Console to yes. For additional information and instructions for changing your redirection settings, see the WebFOCUS Security and Administration manual.
have you done all this?
When we have made feeble attempts at using EXL07, we have set the URL to blank:
SET EXCELSERVURL = ''
Francis
Give me code, or give me retirement. In FOCUS since 1991
Production: WF 7.7.05M, Dev Studio, BID, MRE, WebSphere, DB2 / Test: WF 8.1.05M, App Studio, BI Portal, Report Caster, jQuery, HighCharts, Apache Tomcat, MS SQL Server
We are all running Office 2013, but all of the conversion parts of the setup have been fully installed.
The Save Report redirection setting was set to "no" so I changed it to "yes".
I tried saving the reports with the EXCELSERVURL there, with it completely removed, and with the '' (empty single quotes). All three versions are still throwing xml errors.
Thank you for your suggestions, I may have to go ahead and submit a ticket on this one.
