I have a situation where I will need 2 or 3 different graphs. The reason for this is that the user will be selecting any number of 6 elements that are available. One of these elements requires a dual y axis as the maximum value for it will be 1 (its called PF) and the others will range from 0 upwards.

To make everything look nice I want to display a single y axis graph if the user selects 'PF' or any of the other values without 'PF', and a dual y axis if the user selects any combination with 'PF'.

Is it possible to insert dialogue manager commands into the GRAPHSTYLE API's or can I only do it with 2 or 3 separate graphs.

Many Thanks

I insert DM into the graph API all the time. Works great!

I have had a go with this
ON GRAPH SET GRAPHSTYLE *
....previous api's
-IF &MAR EQ 1 THEN GOTO -DOMAR;
setTextString(getTitle(),"Title One");
-GOTO NOMAR
-DOMAR
setTextString(getTitle(),"Title To");
-NOMAR
ENDSTYLE
END

&MAR is basically a boolean type variable
When I run this I get the following message

(FOC281) ALPHA ARGUMENTS IN PLACE WHERE NUMERIC ARE CALLED FOR

Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance

The GOTO tag shouldn't have a dash (-) in front of it.

I don't know how you have &MAR defined. Have you tried putting quotes around it?

The &MAR is a default at the mo but eventually will be a
 -SET
.

I shall look away in shame at the school boy error with the - on the tag. I shall book myself in the opticians

Thanks for the help

Rather than have many messy GOTOs try using an amper variable instead -
GRAPH FILE CAR
SUM RCOST DCOST
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET PAGE NOLEAD
ON GRAPH SET GRAPHSTYLE *
-SET &Title = IF &MAR EQ 1 THEN 'Title One' ELSE 'Title Two';
setTextString(getTitle(),"&Title");
ENDSTYLE
END
