Is there a way to prevent HTML Composer from reformatting the source code? It keeps stripping out all tabs, capitalizes html attributes, removes double quotes from attribute values and reformats javascript. I know this seems picky, but it makes it a bit difficult to trace through old or current code. Would my only option be to go from Notepad++ or some text editor, copy and paste the code into Html Composer, run the code, and then make changes in Notepad++ again?
While writing this up I got the idea that the reason the code gets botched is for html validation before runtime? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Euclid,

You've nailed it! That's seems to be the case in my experience ... well, I actually stopped fighting it and just decided to leave it as the tool likes it
"HTML Composter" what an awesome play on words. Just as good as "Internet Exploader".
I was fighting the code reformatting issue with our CMS a few months back. The CMS was doing HTML validation which was destroying the formatting and I would bet a beer that the Composter is doing the same thing.

As the Product Manager of the HTML Composer, we do not write the HTML. We call a Microsoft facility that writes it and it writes valid HTML.
