I have a report column specified as:

TYPE=REPORT,
COLUMN=N9,
SQUEEZE=2.0

Values that exceed this width are truncated with an '!' char appended.

Is there a way I can have the column truncate without the ! char being added?

(WORDWRAP is not an option for my user..)

Try the 'WIDTH' command. I know it works in PDF, can't remember if it works in html output though.
