Rumor has it that 7.7 is due out the end of the year. Any beta testers have any insight as to new features, performance, etc? We may need to upgrade next year and wondering if it's a "major" upgrade. We went from 5.2 to 7.6 - wasn't too bad really - mostly code tightening (we don't use MRE yet).

The rumor you heard is not true. WebFOCUS 7.7.0 is targeted for Q2 2010 at this point.

Below was a quote from the WebFocus newsletter... So when is WebFocus 8 target release? - if 7.7.0 is targeted second quarter...which always means later... So none of this sounds soon.
