I need to know how can I omit blank pages in a report generated in PDF format...!!

You might try adjusting your page size using the paper and lines settings, nosplit helps also.

You can also try....
SET PRINTPLUS = ON
SET PSPAGESETUP = ON

as well as stylesheet settings.

I've found that sometimes using FOOTER and/or SUBFOOTs may cause issues on 5.2.8. You may need to narrow the issue down to a certain field.

Yes, it can be a pain - although the 7.6 Coord. Compound PDFs looks a bit promissing.
