I am having a periodic error when viewing the ReportCaster 'Job Status' tab in the ReportCaster console (http://server:8080/rcaster/console/RCHConsole.jsp?IBIRC_language=en_US).
Occasionally, the center pane will go blank and include only the following: "Unable to communicate with the Distribution Server to obtain configuration information. Please confirm that the Distribution Server is started and that the values of the Distribution Server host and port are correct. " My review of the Distribution Server window (we run the command line option) does not indicate any messages/errors.
Again, this is only periodically occurring and does not seem to be affected by any configuration error (as indicated here: http://techsupport.information...bf/wbf_dia_156.html). I have been through all of the checks to be sure, but the premise of a configuration error does not fit with an intermittent error.
