[CLOSED] Report Assistant Tree View not displaying fields for some Clusters
Hi, we have migrated from 765 to 769 and recently realized that with Report Assistant, some Clusters are not displaying the fields when switching to Tree View. You can see the fields in List View fine. All the Clusters were working fine in Report Assistant in 765.

We have taken 2 specific Clusters for comparaison and the Cluster that is not working has less joins and less fields while the Cluster that IS working has almost twice has more joins and fields.

Is there anything we can look into that could possibly be the cause? Master file?

Thank you,

Hi Siph7, do you receive an error message and is it "undefined".

There is not error message, we just get a blank box where the fields are supposed to be listed.

We have pinpointed the problem and it is the description on the segment in the .mas file. Seems if the segment description contains an apostrophe, the problem occurs. We have removed since the apostrophe and have searched for other .mas files that have apostrophes in the segment description to do the same and it works now.

Note that only the segment description in the .mas file is changed. Apostrophes in the field descriptions in the .mas files does not generate any problems.

Is this a product defect? All the descriptions have been entered through GUI interface so why is there a problem? These descriptions have not been modified since... well ever... We have passed from 763 to 765 with no issues, but since 765 to 769, it started to happen.

Thanks,
