Is it possible to combine multiple data sources or use multiple data sources in one report? I need to create a report using data from 2 different data sources. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Btizz welcome to the Forum. Please go into your profile and add a signature with what version of WebFocus you are using. As for your question...as long as you have masters for the data and a common field..you can use JOIN to combine your data. Do some research on JOIN.

Btizz To give you some help on this it would be nice if you post something more than only the error message.
To answer your basic question, yes it is possible but it is sometimes not the right way to just join two or more tables from different platforms, since the performance will be awful.
what I try to do is get the required data from the various platforms and put them in a holdfile . Then create the join or match over these holdfiles and build the report.
In this case, can you run a simple report on the required data from only one platform?
Maybe show us the fex and/or the masters.

I think the BW structure has already many dimensions in it and I think you can not just join two multidimensional cubes as if it is a normal database. But this is something for the real specialists. Did you contact your local support department?
