I've got on litttle problem with MS excel 2003 template and IE7. The code goes like this:
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT MODEL
BY COUNTRY
BY CAR
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K TEMPLATE 'test1' SHEETNUMBER 2
END
But what I get is a blank page. Internet Explorer 7 opens up but it displays only a blank page.
If I make test1.mht file with my own MS Excel 2003 - Webfocus complains about file format not being mht. When I make mht file with MS excel 2007 it displays blank page and nothing happens.
Please advice.
Why I can't make proper mht template with Excel 2003? Is it Excel ?
Is there anything I can do about that blank page ?
I hope I described issue clearly enough.

Repeating something that has been said many times before -
To create an Excel Template that can be used by WebFOCUS -
Create a new workbook with at least two worksheets
Ensure each sheet contains something within one of the cells - it is probably easiest to enter a space in A1.
Save the file as a "single file web archive" into a folder within your WF AppPath.
If this still doesn't help you get your template to work and you have checked the many other posts on this subject and exhausted the suggestions given there, then I would suggest raising a case with IB via InfoResponse.

thanks for quick reply. Yes I've checked everything you said, also other suggestions from this forum(which I managed to find), but still the problem persists. I suspect there is something wrong with my Excel...
OK. I'll try reinstalling it or something.
Thank you.

Did you place a space in one cell in sheet two of your template file? I'm pretty sure this is the error I received when I forgot to do this step in creating my template.

Thanks everyone for suggestions and advices. I'm not sure where the problem is but anyway it works on other computer but not mine. I've tried reinstalling MS Office, updated it to sp2 then to sp3, still I've got the same problem.
Thanks again.

Are you trying to run this through Dev Studio? Check your mapping to make sure you are connected to the server where the .mht file resides. Check your settings against the computer where it works.
