Does anybody except us use USAGE=D.M.YY, ACTUAL=DATE?
I've tried the Calendar Feature in 8105M, but it disappears as soon as you use USAGE=D.M.YY.

Hi Horst,

The only places where I've come across using periods as date separators are Germany and Austria. If you are using smartdates the display shouldn't matter but if these are alpha dates you will have to convert them.

Horst,

Welcome to Focal Point !

Are you referring to the calendar feature within HTML composer?

In AppStudio HTML Composer it seems to only allow the option for Y.M.D as a date format.

In a Define I converted today's date into your format in Alpha format.
DATE1/YYMD= &YYMD;
ALPHA_DATE/A11=DATETRAN (DATE1, '(DMYY)', '(.)', 'EN', 11, 'A11');

Please clarify what you are trying to do with this date format.

Thank you for participating in the Focal Point Forum.

Kind Regards,

I tried the advertised Calendar Feature in Info Assist and a slicer using wf_retail_time.mas.

Setting
FIELDNAME=TIME_DATE, ALIAS=TIME_DATE, USAGE=D.M.YY, ACTUAL=DATE
the Calendar Feature is no longer visible.

Germany and Austria may be unique in using D.M.YY, but I won't let our users see anything else.
