Hi Team,

What are the ways to display NODATA in fex report.

I don’t want to use any CAR or EMPDATA to create Dummy columns and then print the “No Data Available”.
Also I don’t want to write any HTMLFORM BEGIN and END code inside my .FEX file.

I want to know is there any WebFOCUS system defined file is there to achieve the same.

In PRODUCTION I do not want to write some unwanted code based on some sample files.

Let me know your concerns.

There are some system tables, such as SYSTABLE and SYSCOLUM.

Thanks Wep5622, I will try that and let you know if i need any information.

It will be good if you can provide a sample .FEX file using the system tables.

Thanks a lot for your help on this.

Regards,
Suresh

Not sure what you are looking for. In my company, we have an include to produce an empty report. When we execute the report Select, if it returns absolutely no data, we GOTO the empty report logic.

Would the EMPTYREPORT setting be helpful?
