I need to round a value in a COMPUTE, and have the rounding carry through to EXL2K FORMULA. I can cast the value to a P format (e.g., P6.1) to force rounding in other forms of output, where the calculations take place on the WFR server -- but that does not carry through to the formula in Excel.
There used to be a ROUND() function, as described in a release 4 manual (see below) -- and one might hope that in handling FORMULA the product would translate that to the corresponding Excel built-in ROUND() function. But, alas, ROUND() seems to have been withdrawn by IBI.
Syntax: How to Use ROUND to Round Numbers The syntax for ROUND is ROUND(infield, number, outfield) where: infield Decimal Is the name of the input field. number Integer Is the number of significant decimal places. outfield Numeric Is the name of the output field.

But as of REL 7 (probably earlier) it's gone.
