Does anyone know if the value controlling the bursting of RCaster output can be added into the Subject line of the associated e-mail?
A WebFOCUS procedure executed by RCaster outputs a report sorted by Customer Number. The Address Book bursts each customer's portion of the report into a separate e-mail routed to the appropriate customer's e-mail address. Additionally, a second Address Book entry for the same burst value sends a duplicate of the customer's report to that account's sales representative.
Sales reps with lots of customers get many instances of this report in their e-mail in-boxes, one for each of their customers. However, all the Subject lines are alike. For their convenience we'd like to incorporate into the Subject line the RCaster bursting value that produces each e-mail.
Suggestions please.

First please update your Signature line via the Profile Setup with what version of WebFocus you are using.
Learn something new everyday. On the IBI tech site they had the following..and I tried it with the CAR file and sent the e-mail to myself...and it worked.
1) Create a Bursted ReportCaster report 2) In the SUBJECT line in the DISTRIBUTION section of ReportCaster, specify '%BURST' 3) All of the BURSTED values contained in the attached report will be listed in the SUBJECT line of the email.
