I would like to change the userid that comes in to the reporting server.

For example if the the id comes in as abc, I would like to change the id to xyz. What commands do I need in the edasprof.prf to do this.

Hi,

You may want to try this in the site.wfs file which is editable from the WebFOCUS Administration Console (http://webserver/ibi_html/wfconsole.htm) by clicking on Configuration, Custom Settings.

You can try something like the following:

CURRUSER=&IBIC_user
CURRUSER EQ "abc"
IBIC_user="xyz"
IBIC_pass="xyzpass"

IBIC_user(pass)

This should set the current user in a variable named CURRUSER, then check whether the current user is "abc". If it is, then set IBIC_user to "xyz" and set the password if necessary. User xyz will then be used to connect to the Reporting Server.
