[SOLVED] WebFocus 1 Progam w/wo(2)PDF Reports to screen

Does anyone know how or has anyone written a program with 2 seperate reports in PDF format as the output (that come to the screen)?

If my customer would have EXCEL format, there'd be no problem. I could do a spreadsheet for each BUT she wants PDF.

I've tried using the -RUN to have one 'TABLE FILE' -RUN then the other 'TABLEFILE', but that dDOESN'T Work.

Any ideas?

If you can recognize the EXCEL users than do the follwing:

-SET &OUTFMT = IF () THEN 'PDF' ELSE 'EXL2K';

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
DEALER_COST
RETAIL_COST
BY CAR
BY MODEL

WHERE COUNTRY EQ 'ITALY'

ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT &OUTFMT

hello,
you can use COMPOUND assist in Developer Studio or you can use syntaxe like

for the first report
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF OPEN
or
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF OPEN NOBREAK

for the second report
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
or
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF NOBREAK

for the last report
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF CLOSE

It works also for HOLD.

on the first report
OPEN create a document with a report on a separate page

NOBREAK allow you to put many reports on the same page

This syntaxe also works with EXL2K or EXL07 format.

Try this

SUM SALES
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT &WFFMT OPEN NOBREAK
END
-RUN

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM SALES
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT &WFFMT
