Hi,

Is Excel Print set up functionality ‘Rows to repeat at top’ possible in webfocus ? The output would repeat the column headings on each page in the event that the report is more than one page. Is this possible in the versions

1. 7.1.4
2. 7.6.9

Thanks!
Janani

If you are talking about Excel output (you're not specific - only saying "like Excel"), then the quick answer is No, because they are Excel functions applied within "Excel Print set up functionality" and therefore not part of WebFOCUS. Use VBA within Excel templates to achieve that.

There is no "page" concept within Excel until the time comes to print a work sheet, therefore when the data is loaded into Excel it is a single "page".

Having said that you could use PAGE-BREAK with a sort field or even ON sortfield SUBHEAD to achieve your goal. Although this would not necessarily equate to the same as the Excel functiality unless you COMPUTEd (with NOPRINT) a page number to identify the page breaks.
