I have an application that has a RUN NOW button and RUN DEFERRED button. When you click on the RUN DEFERRED button it drops the enduser into RC but then they have to logon and fill in all the information which is not a problem however, is there a way that all the parameters that were selected could be passed to RC? Point me in the right direction and I will pass the info on to the developer. I know RTFM!!! But if anyone has done something like this, I would appreciate some recommendations.

Part of the problem may be that "RUN DEFERRED" shouldn't drop the enduser into RC, rather, it should "Run Deferred" which should use the selected variables. A "Schedule" button is normally used for RC.

Using DSTRUN function can help to trigger the report caster job without log in to RC.


WF 8.1.04,Infoassist,Oracle, Excel, PDF,HTML.

Thanks - I will pass this on to the developer. I also gave him a copy of the RC-API manual as well. I will keep you posted and let you know the results.
