JOIN
INNER MAILFILE.MYMAIL.LISTCD IN MAILFILE TO MULTIPLE MSTRFILE.SEG01.SRCCODE
IN MSTRFILE AS J0
END
To this point, everything is fine. I then used the join in a report (via Report Assistant in Dev Studio). However when I run the report, I get the following error:
(FOC1101) THIS INTERFACE DOES NOT SUPPORT THE GLOBAL JOIN
Any idea why I would be getting this error? This message has been edited. Last edited by: DJ,

I believe it has to do with joining a comma delimited file to a fixed file. therefore just change the second file to a focus file and then do the join.
TABLE FILE MSTRFILE PRINT * BY SRCCODE NOPRINT ON TABLE HOLD AS NEWMSTR FORMAT FOCUS INDEX SRCCODE END
JOIN INNER MAILFILE.MYMAIL.LISTCD IN MAILFILE TO MULTIPLE SRCCODE IN NEWMSTR AS J0 END

OK, huge rookie mistake on the sorting of the files. I knew one of them was sorted correctly, but the other was not. This fixed my problem! Thanks Anatess!
mrguru, I am positive your input will be useful down the road as I have much to learn...
