Dear all,

We have some examples considering how to run a request that execute some report from server (see this example http://forums.informationbuild...1057331/m/8857066376 with Ajax).

But, I need to know how to create a request which submit a fex execution as DEFERRED, using javascript.

In the WebFOCUS BI Portal, if you right-click on a fex and select "Properties", there are check boxes at the bottom of the Properties window. One of them is "Only Run as Deferred Report".

So I think you can set it to run deferred using Properties, then call on it from JavaScript. I have never tried this, however, so I don't know if it will work.

The indication to run a report as defered is just a variable in the string. I forget what exactly it is, but I think if you were to add &DEFERRED=DEFERRED or something like that to your ajax call it will send the report to deferred execution. You can also pull the variable from the execution string if thats wrong and find it that way.
