Hai all I am trying to use tab control in html composer. I have a drop down in Tab1 and another in Tab2. In parameters tab I chained both the controls but when I run, chaining doesn't work. im doing it in normal way..added two drop downs and chained both of them by dragging 1st to 2nd in parameters tab. both are getting populated with data but chaining doesn't work.! I added same drop down from 2nd tab in 2st and chained it to 1st control..chaining works good in 1st tab. 8.1.05 HTML,PDF,EXL2K, Active, All | |||

When I do it your way, I can see what you're talking about. Not sure WHY, but it seems to be in the way you manually add the list box. 1.Try adding a button or frame or however you want the report to appear and import the parameters when prompted. 2.Input them as drop-down lists and add them to your tabs. 3.Then go to the parameter tab and chain them. That's how I got mine to work. This will get messy, but maybe someone can enlighten us what is different in these two code pieces: [U]Working[/U]
