We have a compound excel report that does not always get generated by reportcaster. There are no errors generated in the log, but the email never reaches the user. We are having to manually run the report in Dev studio and email the report to the user.
We do not think our internal email security is blocking the email The attachment averages about 4~5 MB in size and has 12 tabs with no graphs.
Does anyone know what may be causing this issue? Are there size limitations in Reportcaster for compound excel attachments?

Does the log file say the report is send and if so is the email address a correct formatted one, you can send the report to. Maybe the mail folder of the receiver is full.

I had run into a similar issue in the past, and in my case there had been a change in our SMTP rules blocking files of a certain size like one of your possibilities. To trouble shoot the issue I worked with our team that was in charge of email. They were able to trace the file on the SMTP server to verify it was being sent and saw the SMTP error there. Maybe someone that deals with the SMTP server in your company can do the same.
