Hi all. I'm revisiting this question after seeing an expert during Summit week. I asked the question about running PLSQL with dynamic parms in WF. The expert showed me an easy way to do it. However, I have lost my notes. I know the WF administrator has to be involved and it included creating a synonym. Can anyone fill in the blanks or direct me to documentation which might detail this process? I'm on WF8.0. ThanksThis message has been edited. Last edited by: <Kathryn Henning>,
You can create stored procedures in the DB and make a call from WebFOCUS. You also have control to pass dynamic parameter values to the stored procedure.
Yes.. we shall pass on "IN" paramters to a stored proc. But there is no way of capturing a value returned by a proc i.e, an "OUT" parameter can't be passed.
It can only get the data/result-set and can hold it in SQLOUT for reporting.
Thanks, Ram.
Thanks,
