Has anyone had luck running IBI's DevStudio (7.6.1 and up) in the Windows 7 environment? I'm thinking about installing it on my work PC, but I will gladly wait if there are any known issues.
Thanks! This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

It raises the point that the evaluation version of Win 7 is the "Ultimate" level (MS can dream can't they! ) but I wonder what version tmboyd is inferring? From the link that GamP gives above it should be at least "Win 7 Pro".
I have also been running Win 7 beta as a dual boot and have found it better than what was finally released as "Win 7 Pro" - not tried DS on either yet though.

I am running Win 7 Pro 64 with DS 7.6.9 and when I try to run reports I get the following message " Browser open and doing cross scripting" and I get a "#" showing up ... might there be certain site security or some scripting in Win 7 ??

I venture to say that this occurs when running from the development tool (Report Painter). If so, it is because it runs as an adhoc FEX and the TABLE request is in the URL encoded. The browser sees certain characters that trigger its cross-site scripting filter and characters are changed resulting in bad syntax. You can fix this by either turning off the cross-site scripting filter, or not running procedures from the open development tool.
