Hi, Perhaps it depends on the Editor that you are using. I use EditPlus, and it has some very clever features in terms of "templates" as well as a mechanism to create what they call "Cliptext" e.g. I have set up a custom cliptext file so that when I am editing a program, I can click on the reference and it inserts blocks of code into my focexec or master. I use this for program headers, footers, change control records, copyright clauses, standard blocks of code that I would normally have to retype etc.
I guess we all have "tools" that we enjoy using - EditPlus and Snagit are definitely at the top of my list.
