Leading Spaces in the Excel Cells

I have follg code producing excel sheet. It keeps losing leading spaces
in excel cells. I am not able to recollect ... if it was spot markers
or nbsp or something which can be used to retain leading space. Any idea ?

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT SEATS AS '      SEATS'
OVER  CAR   AS '      CAR'
ON TABLE SET ONLINE-FMT EXL2K
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
ENDSTYLE
END

Even though I still do not have a solution, I figured out that
my need was served by using 'JUSTIFY=RIGHT'.
