I hve search up and down this forum and have not found a solution to the following problem. If from my Dashboard in MRE I execute a LaunchPage to gather variables then execute the launch page which calls the report which is displayed in a new window (the reporting window) This first report has many drills which can be called and drills from these reports can be called the back button and forward button work as you would expect since all the reports are pointed to TARGET _self. Only problem is i can never get the back button to go back to the first report. Is there a solution to this do I need to change the target out of the launch page. Any giudence would be helpful.

This has been an issue since the beginning and everyone is quite used to it. There is no solution. When WebFocus runs the report in same window there are two pages which execute. The first page is a redirect page which passes the parameters and calls the focexec. In order to back up to the previos page you have to select the arrow on the back button and skip back two pages. The original page will then load. This is why I generally through all my drills into separate windows.

That is not the not what I'm seeing. From the Launch page I get the parent report. From which I can drill to a second report thing is I can not even by using the dropdown arrow get back to the parent. It is listed as you say as the second in the dropdown history list it just give you the PAge expired messag and you can not get back to it
