I have looked through the forum and haven't found an issue like the one I am in need of an answer to.
I am on WF 8.0.0.7 and we are creating a pivot table via EXL2K and a second tab as well.
Using SET COMPOUND command to create a compound report (that may not be relevant however).
Once the pivot table is created, then when our customer clicks on a cell and reveals the details, there is a column that they do not want to see in the output (it comes from the pivot and was necessary to the pivot table creation).
I created a macro to remove that field when the cell is double clicked on, and it works fine.
However when I went to incorporate that into the ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K PIVOT line, I realized that wouldn't work.
Does anyone know if there is a way to incorporate a macro AFTER the pivot table is created in order to manipulate what is returned in the details?
Thank you for any help you are able to give.

You should have to use the Excel Template to have a Macro inserted in an Excel file. WebFocus doesn't manage Macro. So you must have to create your Macro, have it include in an Excel Template then use that template as your output format. Many discussion on how to use template (also available in doc).
But I don't think that you will be able to use WebFocus Pivot table format : EXL2K PIVOT. You may have to create your Pivot within the Excel Template Macro file.

Creating a template isn't on the table for this, only the pivot.
So it sounds like, and I was hopeful that it wouldn't be, but there seems to be no way to create a pivot table with EXL2K PIVOT and then once the Pivot table opens in Excel have a way to programmatically manipulate the cell as it is opening the details of that cell.
So saying that WebFOCUS doesn't manage the macro makes sense.
