I've been looking for information in the manuals about External and System Amper Variables. In the Dev Studio Object Inspector, these are listed separate from Report Amper Variable. I can not find any documentation to clarify 1) when would they be used and 2) how I'd create them.

Where is it documented or can someone briefly explain how I'd implement them with Dev Studio 533? I wonder if I am the only user of Dev Studio 533.

Second time I've resolved my own post(scarey).

Looks like defining a Where/If (specifically an IF) using an otherwise undefined amper field, adds an item to the External Amper Variable list.

Would be nice if it was documented.
