Hello, please help, Thank you.

I got "(FOC003) THE FIELDNAME IS NOT RECOGNIZED: CASE_NUMBER".

If I don't use index, then no problem, and I don't have to use "AS 'CASE_NUMBER'". However, I need the index, so I can join other tables again.

Don't use single quotes around the column names in the INDEX declaration:

ON TABLE HOLD AS HOLD2 FORMAT XFOCUS INDEX CASE_NUMBER PERS_NUMBER

You did not show us your JOIN code. Do you have a TAG attribute? If so, then you probably need to include that in the INDEX:

J0.PS2_CASE_ID.CASE_NUMBER
