As soon as I switch a report to AHTM format, all the columns get squished together. What SET statements or settings must I make to spread things out a bit. It seems no matter what I do...its squished!
TABLE FILE CAR BY CAR.COMP.CAR BY CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY BY LOWEST CAR.BODY.BODYTYPE BY CAR.BODY.RETAIL_COST ON TABLE SUBHEAD "CAR REPORT EXAMPLE" ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD ON TABLE SET BYDISPLAY ON ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT AHTML ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON ON TABLE SET STYLE * INCLUDE = IBFS:/EDA/EDASERVE/_EDAHOME/ETC/endeflt.sty, $ TYPE=REPORT, LINES-PER-PAGE=20, ARGRAPHENGINE=JSCHART, ALLOW-TOOLS=OFF, $ ENDSTYLE ENDThis message has been edited. BTW, I tried setting the CAR options to: Column Data, then tried Min/Max/Truncate and WRAP. No matter what I do each column appears to only as wide as its description. If I set it to: not set, its as wide as the widest car value. I need more space though...hard to read with is jumbled together.
Robert, AHTML takes over lots of styling. My workaround is this:
-* File robert4.fex
TABLE FILE CAR
BY CAR.COMP.CAR AS 'CAR_________________'
BY CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY AS COUNTRY_____________
BY LOWEST CAR.BODY.BODYTYPE AS BODY__________________
BY CAR.BODY.RETAIL_COST
ON TABLE SUBHEAD
"CAR REPORT EXAMPLE"
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD
ON TABLE SET BYDISPLAY ON
ON TABLE NOTOTAL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT AHTML
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
INCLUDE = endeflt.sty,
$
TYPE=REPORT,
LINES-PER-PAGE=20,
ARGRAPHENGINE=JSCHART,
ALLOW-TOOLS=OFF,
$
ENDSTYLE
END

I was just checking on this. Your solution was identical to what I ended up doing beofre I read your post...though I was hoping that was a temporary measure and I'd find a magic solution when I followed up on the post today. I guess not!
