I am trying to set up a new install of caster (772) and I want to try using teradata as the repository. I configured the jdbc driver and classpath and the connection is fine. But when I run the util to create the repos. tables, the SQL that is generated throws tons of syntax errors in Teradata.
I can clean up the syntax and run the sql in teradata and create the tables outside of the util... but that makes me wonder whether there will be more problems down the road. If the create tables SQL doesn't work then maybe other calls to the tables won't work as well.
Does anyone have any experience using teradata as the caster repos? Is there some way to get caster to create teradata compliant sql that I am missing? It is supposed to be supported...
Thanks!
