I am in need of implementing a timeline chart and have found that this D3 chart would work great https://github.com/jiahuang/d3-timeline .

Gavin/David anyone have an example of this? I have currently implemented a Google chart (https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/timeline#configuration-options) but have found it contains a bug with the tooltip which has not been fixed in the 4 years it has been known. I am doubtful it will be fixed anytime soon and it is causing the chart to be useless since tooltips are a must. I would much prefer to use the D3 charts anyway since they are easier to customize once you learn them.

However, I don't see a tool tip in it. You get to pick 4 items: Task, Subtask, Start and End Dates.

Search Focal Point for Gantt Chart

We have tried the both of the suggested approaches. IBI has a case to help modify the Gantt to our needs however, I need it now and as it is will not work. The one I show above is exactly what I am looking for and would need little to now modification if I coulds just get it called from WebFOCUS.

The ibi.timeline.com will not except now parameters I have given it and during the sandbox at the Summit noone was able to help me to determine why.

My thoughts were if I had to modify it I would prefer to take this one which already does what I need.
