How to change the legend co-ordinates.

I am displaying legend at the bottom of the graph.I want to bring it closer(to shift it up) to the graph.How to set the co-ordinates for the legend?

Please update your signature in your profile, so we can advise you better.

For now, if you're using DevStduio of a 7.6 release, you could use the advanced graph editor to do just what you need done. It contains just about every bit of api code possible, and your requirement is somewhere in there.

Hello,

You can do this by setting your custom coordinates for the legend rectangle. Here is a snippet of the code you can use as an example:

setLegendPosition( -1);
setLegendAutomatic(false);
setRect(getLegendArea(),new Rectangle(x,y, width, height));

Note that x,y,width, and height are virtual coordinates that define the position and size of the rectangle. You may need to do several tries with the numbers before you get it perfect.
