How do I execute a fex file and send the results to a hold file? I would also like to know how to print out the number of lines in the hold file. Thanks for the help.

Daniel,

You need a -RUN before -TYPE &LINES. Otherwise you might get the line count for a previous hold file.

The 'APP HOLD' is not needed to check the value of &LINES.
