We have a table in oracle-10g, which has a column with the data-type as DATE (which contain TIME fraction also). When tried to create a drop-down-list, by selecting the above said metadata's date field as dynamic data source, the values are coming as blank when we run the HTML program. Then I tried different possible combinations of a date datatype in the USAGE and ACTUAL values of the metadata file , but all were futile. Anybody can give me a clue, what might have gone wrong?

It would probably help if you listed how the field is actually listed in your master or what it was before it was changed. Also, have you searched the forum and/or tech support sites? Try to search on Timestamp or Date-Time, and you should have a lot of examples here on the forum and also on the tech support site.
Cheers,
Kerry

Johnny, when you just perform an ordinary TABLE FILE filename PRINT mydatefield .. what do you see? You have let the wizard create your master for you, yes? And you have recreated it after your tinkering (not refresh, actually recreate), so you have a solid baseline for experimenting, yes?
