Does anyone know what the SMQUERY_7706 table is supposed to be for ? We upgraded from 8.0 to 8.1M about 6 months ago and recently noticed that this table is taking up 13 GB of space and has 54 million records in our oracle repository database. Any thoughts on cleanup of this table would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Shashi

Our repository is SQL server-based. I cannot find such a table.

Could it be something left over from an upgrade from version 7 to 8?

We started out on 8, so we never upgraded from 7.

It is likely to be a custom named Resource Analyser table.

We have SMQUERY_7705 which is one of several Resource Analyzer tables. It is conceivable that Resource Analyzer has settings to drop old data.
