Hi when I tried to display same variable in two sheets I am getting "Agent on reporting server biuc01 may have crashed"v error.

below is the sample code I am using:

-READ HIERARCHY_TABLE DISK HIERARCHY_TABLE.ftm &A.A6. &B.A30.
-SET &HIERARCHY = &B;
-SET &HIERARCHY1 = IF &B EQ 'A' THEN 'DSM Group : ' || TRUNCATE(&DSMGRP)

here we will get &DSMGRP using below code
-READ DSMGRP_29 &A.A6. &B.A3000.
-SET &DSMGRP = &B;

the problem here is when I tried to print this variable in two sheets I am getting "Agent on reporting server biuc01 may have crashed"v error.

Could any one help on this is highly appreciable.

The -READ syntax is
-READ filename &name.format. etc

I would have thought that the basic problem is that you could/can not have a variable of A3000.

But that is release dependant so knowing what you are on is very important.

Waz is correct.

I have never ever seen the -READ syntax that you are using.

1st FILEDEF FILE etc. (platform dependant)
2nd -RUN
3rd -READ Filename &variable.Ann. etc
