Can someone tell me how do I avoid my FEX to crash when I run against a table with 70mil rows and getting unique instances of abt 60000. Im using the fex to create an answerset and hold it as format alpha, then use it for some more analysis. here's my sample fex TABLE FILE MYFILE SUM FIELD1 FIELD2 BY FIELD3 ON TABLE HOLD AS HOLDFILE FORMAT ALPHA END I guess it crashes after reading certain number of records when I monitor my agent. Any help would be appreciated!! Thx in advance

Do you know if it works with less data? Try adding IF RECORDLIMIT EQ 1000. Also, look at the edaprint.log. Is it possible you're running out of disk space? WebFOCUS may be creating some large temporary files.
