MattCDeferred Status
We run reports in Deferred for processing and we also allow these reports to be stored for 29 days. I noticed this morning that I had a few reports that we created on December 10 that went into a tab called "Unknown" and the Status of Expired but under my Completed tab I still have reports from December 7th that expires today. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them and what they did to resolve this.

LeahI've seen it, usually after some kind of fix or upgrade, but since I don't 'care', never looked in to it too deeply.

Bryan KlimekThe deletion of deferred reports from the dfm_dir directory is done by the reporting server. This process does not remove the deferred ticket that is in the user.htm file in your basedir. So, this is working as designed. If your users do not delete the report before the dfm_maxage, they will go into unknown status in WebFocus. This behavior has been around for quite some time.
In release 7.1 there is now a utility to clean up these orphaned deferred tickets on the basedir. The utility is called mrdtcleanup. Here is a link to some doc:
