Rather than add to an old post from here Accordian Report Question I thought it best to start a new discussion.
BTW - Thanks Alan B. for the technique (and javascript) to create the modified accordion report! It was very easy to implement and works great.
This got me thinking about vertically expandable/collapsible groups in a report output. I don't know javascript but I can't help think that, if it is possible to do what Alan B did, then is it possible to make such a report? It would basically function like a MS Excel table that uses Subtotals and Outlining.
