I have a web composer page that has the prompts on top and 2 spaces below for 2 different reports. While the reports are running (a minute or two) the 'spinner' ("Loading, please wait") message appears as normal. However, it is too low on the page. If the user does not scroll down, they have no idea that anything is happening to process their request. Does anyone have an idea how to move the spinner higher up on the page? have the executed fex be a redirect, passing the parms to the report fex. and the redirect message you can say anything you wish, and put it anywhere you wish

You can also go into the properties window for the body tag and change the "Loading screen" to be a custom screen. Like J said, you can create a custom loading screen with the loading message and spinning image in a different location so that it isn't too low on the page. This is what we do in some instances. Webfocus 8, All Outputs | |||

You can find the 'Loading screen' property in the properties panel on the right side in html composer when '< BODY>' has been selected from the dropdown. From there you can set a custom html page to be your loading screen. Webfocus 8, All Outputs | |||

Maybe it's different in the version of dev studio that you are using. Not sure. But, there is a whole section on specifying an html file as a loading screen in the htmlcomp.pdf documentation. Webfocus 8, All Outputs | |||
