I would like to find out how do you combine "series" in the pie graph, to make "slices". Like if I have a series of numbers 1134, 4567, 1189, 4577,8900,8970. I would like to combine 1134 with 1189 for a total and a color of green on the pie chart. Then 4567 with 4577 for a total and a color of blue and lastly all the numbers that start with a 89, combine them and add to the pie chart with a red color slice, for a total of %100. If you could provide code for or how to do this with the Graph Chart gui in App Studio, that would be well appreciated. Thank you. This message has been edited. Last edited by: QuickLearner,

Quicklearner: It's nice to see that you are no longer claiming to be able to master WebFocus in two months. However you still don't appear to have taken any lessons or have read any manuals so I'm sure as heck not going to write the code for you.
Look up the EDIT command and specifically the Edit Mask portion. You will find that it is possible to separate your values according to the first two digits in your code and then subsequently sum them.
And don't forget to say thank you when you use someone's suggestions ...
You would benefit from the wealth of information in the WebFOCUS Keysheet that covers through version 8. All those commands that confound you or you cannot find are right there at your fingertips. Check it out at www.aviter.com.
And good luck..Vivian
