Hiding passwords

Does anyone have javascript code that can be added to a FOCEXEC to hide user IDs and passwords? I need to pass the Value to the reporting server I(RACF on MVS) but hide variable value, so the values cannot be queried, &IBIC_pass.

Rhonda,

When you say adding JavaScript to a FOCEXEC do you mean via HTMLFORM? I guess you do.

If you want to pass a variable in this manner - via an HTML page - then all you have to do is to add the variable as a hidden input tag -

<input type="hidden" name=IBIC_User value=!IBI.AMP.IBIC_User;>
<input type="hidden" name=IBIC_Pass value=!IBI.AMP.IBIC_Pass;>

Do not forget to ensure that your FORM method is POST so that the variables are hidden from the end user within the resultant URL.

It's not the most secure method of achieving this but it should work.
