Hi, would anyone please let me know how to freeze the column titles from scrolling in webfocus ? Meaning, if the report is really long, by scrolling the browser, we loose the titles and its very hard to read mutiple column reports...
fyi: I am not allowed to use Managed reporting environment, so I cannot use !ibi.fil.blabla...

But whats up with "i'm not allowed to use MRE".
that's sad! you're missing the fun! Are you writing text to write your programs? or are you only allowed to use Report Assistant on Reporting Objects, or are you in Dev Studio, or what. the techniques talked about (in the post below)need some access to the text of the code, eg SET WEBVIEWER ON will page your user thru long data, a page at a time, keeping headers, sort of.

Sorry, but I have already looked at "fix tablehead in long tables" topic that's why I was saying I am not allowed to use MRE...
I am developing my apps in vb asp and once the customer selects the criteria and submits the report then I call my webfocus .fex files and ... that's how it works.
I have done very complicated reports so far, but my customer get annoyed for not being able to see the column titles on a very long report...
the webviewer doesn't really work for me...
Is there anything else I can do? :-(

oh. well, there's always just setting SET LINES = 50 or some low number so that the header keeps reappearing as your user scrolls thru. I'm out of ideas. sorry.
