Hello,

Have tried almost anything to get rid of this 'Task error:local error' message I'm getting in the ReportCaster. The error occurs randomly as it seems and I wonder where I would look for to solve this?

Hi SWES,

We've seen several causes for this error. The following may give you some ideas about where to start looking:

ReportCaster: log report shows "Task error:local error"

The edaprint.log file may also yield some clues.

Hi Swes,

I have faced this issue in schdeuler.
One of the reason for this issue is when we are accessing a very large file.

For eg. WHERE FIELDNAME IN FILE FILENAME

In above request if the file being accessed is having huge amount of data, then this schedule error occurs.

Also if we are holding huge data in HOLDFILE then we might get above schedule error.
