I know how long a piece of string is, but I'm not telling anyone.

Surely the answer is 42?

And I always thought a piece of string was twice as long as half of the distance between the two ends...
And here the answer was 42.

That probably means that half a string's length is 21 ... And: T did not specify 42 what (pound, kilo, snow, inches ...)

It depends upon what continent you live in, therefore, by leaving the unit of measurement out of the answer the interpretation of the reader becomes paramount.

You are all so wrong about this! We should talk about cost here. If I am Kerry, I would limit the length of a string to 1K for each post. Then charge you focal pointers for a disposal fee to cover the cost of the landfil piled up here, say a flat piece rate at 42 of your local currency. Anybody abuse the special symbols like Tony did will be charged at martket price. I should be earning some browny points! This message has been edited. Last edited by: Hua,

Lucky you didn't mention mis-spelling costs or else you'd have negative brownie points.

Maybe you should consider the cost of NOT having a WebFOCUS license? For starters, you would miss out on all of this witty banter!
