I have the requirement to enable users to enter a list of est. up to 20 values of the same type into one input field. There is no requirement about the separation of the values; users would prefer blanks but would accept other characters, too. How can I do this ?This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
Are you using HTML controls to provide the values to your procedure?
You can do a multi-select listbox, have the users choose more than one value from the box using Ctrl or Shft keys and the values are passed to an &var to your procedure separated by OR (you can change to AND if you like).
If you just want a plain textbox you can tell the users to separate the values with a delimeter and you can then parse the value using something like GETTOK function.
In any case, it would be great if you can provide more information on what you are trying to accomplish.
